-
The Sella Ronda is the best known ski tour in the Dolomites, and every year literally 10's of thousands of people will do it. It can be a short half day if you race around or a full day if you explore all of the side valleys and stop for lunch. Either way, not to be missed. Below are some suggestions.

- Lagazoui ski safari
-
This is a stunning trip and for everyone who does it a highlight of their stay in the dolomites. Although a long trip, strong intermediate skiers should have no trouble. Highlights include the Armentarola piste with its frozen waterfalls and horse drawn ski tow as well as the rifugio at Lagazoui. The rifugio is well heated and you should only need a small day pack with toiletries and a change of clothes for the evening. Breadfast and dinner are provided. You should let your accommodation know if you intend to do this trip as they will worry and possibly start a search if you don't return for the night. Bookings essential.

Skiing with Kids
- Skiing Safety
-
It is compulsory for children up to the age of 14 years to wear helmets. They can be hired from all of the ski hire shops and are included in the ski rental price at our recommended ski shops.
Because the Dolomites is a huge area, it is a good idea to tell children that if they do become separated from you, they should ski to the base of the nearest lift and wait there for you.
We recommend that all children have a card on them with your mobile number, your accommodation details and a photocopy of their passport just incase they get separated from you.
Mobile phone coverage is very good throught nearly all of the Dolomites.
